The Story of Roze Room
When my grandmother died in an impersonal hospital room, after a long illness, I vowed to help the terminally ill die in the comfort and security of familiar surroundings. In honor of my grandmother, Roza, whose favorite flower was the rose with which she often filled her rooms, I founded our first hospice program in 1997 and named it Roze Room Hospice to signify the combination of grandmother Roza and her favorite flower, the rose. Roze Room Hospice was a culmination of my dream, creating a hospice that is about living one’s life to the fullest, even though days are limited. As the demand for our services grew, we established additional independent hospice programs throughout Southern California and now offer hospice as well as palliative care services throughout various Southern California communities, thus continuing the dream I started in 1997.
Our goal is to attend to our patients’ physical, social, and spiritual needs and prepare and educate family members about what to expect during the time their loved one has left. Our philosophy is simple – we are family. We are here at your time of need, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
If you are considering Roze Room Hospice, or any hospice care, I invite you to call me personally at (877) 783-0072.
